How many addition facts are there?

There is an infinite number of addition facts because numbers continue indefinitely!  Students will typically memorize their basic addition facts beginning with single-digit addition problems before progressing to double-digit facts.  Addition is one of the four basic operations.  Ancient Greek and Arabic texts related to mathematical operations have been translated into Latin beginning in the 12th century which helped to influence the math we learn today.
