How do you teach opposites in English?

To teach opposites, provide students with a set of words using a flash card with realistic pictures. Once you have reviewed the flash card, have your child find their own example of an opposite in the room.  For example, turn the light on and then off.  Walk around the room then stop, or fill a cup with water and then empty the cup in the sink.  Play games and make learning these concepts fun.
